The China Log publishes a balanced array of features, news and information to expand our readers' understanding of The Peoples Republic of China. It is the invention of Alex Foard who, of his own volition at age 20, traveled from middle America to the middle of Mainland China.
His initial odyssey spawned an appreciation of China and more than a decade of frequent travel to the country and immersion in its culture. Presently Mr. Foard is a liason to China for the San Francisco Bay Area Council promoting Sino-American business relations and has multiple business interests in China.
In The China Log you may expect a foundation of Chinese history and thinking mixed with vibrant, present-day perspectives. We will present articles from some of the leading thinkers in Sino-Amercan relations together with newcomers rising on the scene. Contributions are encouraged and welcome: articles and news releases as well as photo essays, electronic media, videos and podcasts.
The China Log's outlook is global in general but with emphasis on China and the United States. The publication is headquartered in San Francisco with production offices in Los Angeles, and editorial offices in Bejing and Shanghai. Your input and feedback is most valuable and greatly appreciated.
